ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) — After stepping down as the head football coach at Ashwaubenon high school, Brian Ryczkowski is back at the helm.
Ryczkowski, who stepped down as head coach late last year, decided to ‘un-retire’ and re-join the team this year, after leading the Jaguars to a 4-5 regular season record in 2025 before losing to New Richmond in the WIAA level 1 playoffs.
“I’m very fortunate to be back out here,” Ryczkowski said. “I’m thankful I had my family’s support to do this.”
Ryczkowski added that he has high hopes about the group this year, and believes they’ll be competitive in the FRCC North.
“I think we got a good group of guys. They love football. And, you can tell they want to be out here,” Ryczkowski said.
