APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) — After six scoreless innings, Lightning struck at the perfect time in Appleton on Tuesday.
In a game that could’ve gone either way Appleton North came out on the right side of a 1-0 game against Waupun.
Appleton North’s Charlotte Radtke was the clear MVP today. The sophomore pitched seven scoreless innings and delivered the walk-off single that sent her team to the sectional championship.
North will face Kimberly in the Division 1 sectional championship at Kaukauna High School on Thursday, June 4th, at 5:00 p.m.
The winner advances to the state softball tournament in Madison.
