The Milwaukee Brewers' new City Connect jerseys are all about Wisconsin.

With supper clubs being one of the state's most beloved traditions – just like the Crew – American Family Field will have a new pop-up Supper Club stand, primarily for Friday home games when the team will sport its City Connect uniforms, the ball club announced in a Thursday, April 9, news release.

The pop-up Supper Club stand – which is otherwise the Field Level Topped Dog Stand – will feature supper club-inspired fare and specialty cocktails. Its menu, created in partnership with Blackshoe Hospitality, will feature:

  • A prime rib grilled cheese sandwich
  • A meatloaf sandwich
  • Walleye served with potato pancakes and applesauce
  • Fried mushrooms with marinara
  • A relish tray
  • Steak fries with truffled aioli
  • A brandy old fashioned cheesecake parfait
  • A classic brandy old fashioned
  • A brandy Alexander
  • A grasshopper

The Supper Club stand will debut for Friday, April 10's game, which is when the new City Connect uniforms will make their on-field debut. The Brewers take on the Washington Nationals at 6:40 p.m.

The pop-up will be open for the rest of that three-game series, which continues April 11 and 12. Future pop-up supper clubs will coincide with when the Brewers wear their City Connect uniforms, which are all Friday home games, the release said.

“There’s nothing more Wisconsin than enjoying supper club favorites and drinking Old Fashioneds on Fridays,” Tom Hecht, the Brewers vice president of consumer experience, said in the release. “We are proud to bring that tradition to American Family Field, making the ballpark feel more like home than ever before."

A new specialty cocktail – offered at home games all season – will pay homage to the Brewers' new semi-regular uniform package.

On the latest City Connect jerseys, a fishing bobber icon cleverly repurposes the former grill patch, meant to celebrate fishing "as one of the state's favorite pastimes."

As a compliment to that design element, the ballpark will debut The Bobber. The drink, served in a souvenir-style baseball bobber cup, will feature Drink Wisconsinbly Brandy with house-made Door County cherry simple syrup, orange bitters and Sprite.

It'll be available at the First and Third Base Ward Barrel Bars, the Drink Wisconsinbly Bar on the Field Level, The Alley Bar, the 3rd St. Market Hall Annex Bar on the Loge Level, the Skyy Bar on the Club Level and the Terrace Bar on the Terrace Level.

The new jerseys are immediately available in the Brewers Team Store, and the franchise is commemorating the jersey release with a social-media presentation that uses music from Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, an Eau Claire native. The club is also planning collaborations with local artists and a summer of statewide pop-ups.

The team store at American Family Field will welcome shoppers Thursday, April 9 with a live DJ, a small maker's market and other fun touches like custom Wisco pull tabs.
