BREAKING: Nottingham Forest sack Dyche after draw with Wolves

Nottingham Forest have sacked manager Sean Dyche following their goalless draw with Wolves on Saturday, with the club sat three points above the relegation zone.

Forest, currently 17th in the Premier League, have recorded one win in their last five league games, beating high-flyers Brentford 2-0 away from home at the end of January, one of Dyche’s six victories during his tenure.

A statement on the club’s website read: “Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Sean Dyche has been relieved of his duties as head coach.

“We would like to thank Sean and his staff for their efforts during their time at the Club and we wish them the best of luck for the future.

“We will be making no further comment at this time.”

The 54-year-old had a decent start since taking over from Ange Postecoglou on the 21st of October, registering two wins in his first five games in charge – including a memorable 3-0 victory over defending champions Liverpool.

Forest will now be looking for their third manager of a tumultuous 25/26 campaign.
