The Jacksonville Jaguars' full 2025 schedule has been released, so let's break it all down.
On paper, according to Sharp Football, the Jaguars have the sixth-easiest schedule in the NFL this season. However, beyond who the opponents are, there are other factors in play when it comes to the schedule that can impact a team's final record and playoff chances.
Let's take a look at what some of those elements are, but first, here is an overview of what the Jaguars' week-to-week schedule looks like
Week 1: vs. Carolina Panthers (1:00 PM)
Week 2: at Cincinnati Bengals (1:00 PM)
Week 3: vs Houston Texans (1:00 PM)
Week 4: at San Francisco 49ers (4:05 PM)
Week 5: vs Kansas City Chiefs — Monday Night Football (8:15 PM)
Week 6: vs Seattle Seahawks (1:00 PM)
Week 7: vs. LA Rams - London, England (9:30 AM)
Week 8: Bye Week
Week 9: at Las Vegas Raiders (4:05 PM)
Week 10: at Houston Texans (1:00 PM)
Week 11: vs. LA Chargers (1:00 PM)
Week 12: at Arizona Cardinals (4:05 PM)
Week 13: at Tennessee Titans (1:00 PM)
Week 14: vs Indianapolis Colts (1:00 PM)
Week 15: vs New York Jets (1:00 PM)
Week 16: at Denver Broncos (4:05 PM)
Week 17: at Indianapolis Colts (1:00 PM)
Week 18: vs Tennessee Titans (TBD)
This matchup with the Rams will come with plenty of intrigue. For one, LA is one of the top teams in the NFC and will present a good middle-of-the-season litmus test for this Jaguars team. However, in addition to that, while the Jaguars of course have their own identity that's being established, under the team's new leadership structure, there is a fair amount of overlap with the Rams, given James Gladstone's and Liam Coen's time with the organization.
Right off the bat to start the season, the Jaguars are going to be up against what, on paper, are some very good opponents. During this stretch, Jacksonville will play at Cincinnati, vs Houston, at San Francisco, vs Kansas City, vs Seattle, and vs the Rams.
Of those teams, the Texans, Chiefs, and Rams all made the playoffs last season. The Bengals, meanwhile, finished with nine wins and the Seahawks with 10. The 49ers did have a down year, but that is certainly not a team that you count out either. The Jaguars holding their own and hanging around .500 during these weeks will be important when it comes to the overall success this season.
Two of the games in this part of the schedule will come on the road, and it's always difficult to win away from one's home stadium. However, the Cardinals, Titans, Colts, and Jets all missed the playoffs last season, and all were below the .500 mark as well. These four games, along with finishing the season against the Colts and Titans in Weeks 17 and 18, could give the Jaguars an opportunity to bank some late-season wins.
Travel and overall rest are elements that teams have to deal with over a long NFL season, and there are going to be instances where one team has an advantage in that regard over another. When it comes to the Jaguars, while they are coming off their bye week in Week 8--although that's after traveling to England--four of their next five games are on the road.
Until we see otherwise, Houston is the defending AFC South champion and it's who the Jaguars, Colts, and Titans are all chasing. A loss at home in Week 3 to the Texans puts the Jaguars in an early hole when it comes to the division race and could force their Week 10 matchup in Houston to be a must-win. Otherwise, even with there being a decent chunk of the season left at that point, digging out of an 0-2 hole with no tie-breaker is a tall task.

Jaguars' most intriguing game: Week 7 vs. LA Rams
Jaguars' most difficult stretch: Weeks 2-7
Part of the schedule Jaguars must take advantage of: Weeks 12-15
Two of the games in this part of the schedule will come on the road, and it's always difficult to win away from one's home stadium. However, the Cardinals, Titans, Colts, and Jets all missed the playoffs last season, and all were below the .500 mark as well. These four games, along with finishing the season against the Colts and Titans in Weeks 17 and 18, could give the Jaguars an opportunity to bank some late-season wins.
Don't overlook: A lot of travel in Weeks 9-13
Travel and overall rest are elements that teams have to deal with over a long NFL season, and there are going to be instances where one team has an advantage in that regard over another. When it comes to the Jaguars, while they are coming off their bye week in Week 8--although that's after traveling to England--four of their next five games are on the road.
Jaguars' must-win game: at home vs. Houston
