Mexico’s batters have scored 21 runs in three games, and should march to a lopsided win against an overmatched opponent.

While Walker is an established big leaguer, he’s been a journeyman or worse lately. He has FIPs of 4.5 or higher each of the last three seasons and WHIPs of 1.3 or more over that span. Mexico will win big, but there will be plenty of runs on the board from both sides.

In two exhibitions and one WBC game, he’s gone 5-for-10 with hits in all three outings. He has a homer, a double, and two walks, scoring four runs and driving in three. He was also 5-for-13 with a .928 OPS in six spring training games for the Rays before leaving for the WBC.
