Maybe we're different, but we still value the opinions of guys who are actually in the locker room with the players we form all of these opinions about. Truth be told, we think the Philadelphia Eagles could realistically trade A.J. Brown. We just don't think that, if they do, he'll be moved for the reasons people keep saying.

Never have we heard an Eagles player or coach say anything but glowing things about him. Now, there was that thing Brandon Graham said last year. You know the one, and that's where our story begins.

Okay, so remember that thing Graham said about Jalen Hurts and A.J. Brown's relationship on 94 WIP-FM? Remember when he said Hurts and Brown weren't as tight as they once were? Remember when he backtracked and apologized, and Hurts said his good friend had spoken out of turn?

Here's a secret. Now, don't you tell anyone we told you this, but everyone didn't believe Graham when he apologized and said he misread the situation. That isn't to say Brown and Hurts are at odds, but brothers fight. It seems zany to think Graham's opinion came from nowhere.

Fast forward to the present. There have been so many stories about Brown playing his final game in Philadelphia. Some point to the tumultuous season we just endured. Others mention his enormous cap number and the evidence that he may have lost a step.

Graham was asked about this on his podcast, Brandon Graham Unblocked. Will A.J. Brown return for a fifth Eagles season? You might be surprised by what the legend said on that topic.

"I think so. I do. I really do think so. If Howie make a splash with the coordinator, I think it will probably spark some interest with people wanting to come back and have a real conversation on how you feel about this and all that because I know Howie don't want to get rid of no good players."

Here's another of those Eagles updates you may have heard once or twice, but Philadelphia's search for a new offensive coordinator doesn't seem to be going well. The favorites they had in mind chose other options. One of the more recent interviewees is only 29 years old. It feels as though they might wind up with someone who wasn't on their radar when their search began.

Why they're in this situation is up for grabs. Some blame Jalen Hurts, and some blame Nick Sirianni. They'll land someone at some point. Of that we're certain. We believe one of the first orders of business upon accepting the job is to see if he can salvage a continuing relationship with A.J. Brown. Until then, we place an asterisk on this discussion, knowing it isn't over yet.
