The Miami Dolphins are releasing veteran outside linebacker Bradley Chubb, per multiple reports.

As Miami nears a likely reboot on both sides of the ball, Chubb will get a fresh start elsewhere. Chubb, who posted 8.5 sacks last season for Miami, is eligible to sign anywhere as soon as he wants.

He immediately stands as one of the best pass-rushers available in free agency this year. Expect the veteran edge rusher to have plenty of interest around the league as a capable starter with 48 career sacks.

Where might he land next? Let's look at teams that might be interested in Chubb.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are flushed with cap space and might need a Khalil Mack replacement. Chubb fits the bill.

Philadelphia Eagles

Chubb played for Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio with the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins. The two's extensive history together should make Philadelphia a strong possibility for Chubb's next stop.

Tennessee Titans

The Titans desperately need an ace pass-rusher to implement new coach Robert Saleh's defensive scheme. The team leads the league in cap space and could hypothetically give Chubb the most competitive contract.

Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders are another team with a ton of cap space and a clear need on the edge. Could Chubb return to the AFC West and play for Las Vegas? The team could pay him handsomely.

Washington Commanders

The Commanders were one of the NFL's best teams in 2024, but the team fell off in 2025. If Chubb wants to join a contender, Washington qualifies if it can rebound and has plenty of cap space to boot.
