PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — Jaquan Johnson scored 31 points to lead Bradley past Missouri Valley Conference leader Belmont, 95-84, in overtime at Carver Arena on Monday.
Alex Huibregtse hit a 3-point shot with :27 left in the second half to tie the game at 80 and force overtime. Huibregtse, who scored 20 points, helped the Braves outscored the Bruins 15-4 in the OT.
Bradley (17-9, 10-5) moved into a tie for second place in the MVC. Belmont (22-4, 12-3) had its nine-game win streak snapped.
At Evansville, AJ Casey scored a career-high 28 points to lead Evansville past Illinois State, 88-80. ISU (16-9, 8-6) was lead by Landon Moore scored 16 points.
