The Boston Celtics will host the Philadelphia 76ers once again in their home arena of TD Garden for Game 2 of their 2026 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs first-round tilt on this Tuesday (April 21) night. And after the Celtics blew out the Sixers in dramatic fashion with their 123-91 win vs. Philly on Sunday (April 19) afternoon, you can bet that the 76ers will be looking for some revenge.
Boston, for their part, will be pushing hard to turn this into the second leg of a first-round sweep vs. Philadelphia -- and based on what we saw in Game 1, it is absolutely on the table for the Celtics.
At present, the Celtics come into this series with the No. 2 seed, and the Sixers the No. 7 after winning the right to face Boston in the 2026 East play-in tournament.
The series is currently 1-0 in the Celtics favor heading into Game 2.
Boston beat the Sixers 123-91 at TD Garden.
For Boston, Ron Harper Jr. (ankle) is probable.
For Philly, Joel Embiid (appendectomy) is out, and Tyrese Maxey (finger), is available.
