Bo Nix and several of his Denver Broncos teammates were in attendance to watch the Denver Nuggets defeat the Las Angeles Lakers 131-126 on Friday night.
"What's up everyone, it's Bo here," Nix said in a video posted on the team's official Twitter/X page. "Just wanted to say we're at the Nuggets game. Just wishing luck to the guys."
The Nuggets shared a photo that showed Nix, wide receiver Courtland Sutton, guard/center Nick Gargiulo and offensive tackle Frank Crum in attendance.
The Broncos also shared images of Nix and Sutton receiving customized Nuggets jerseys.
After being drafted by the Broncos last April, Nix was asked what he knew about Denver as a sports town.
“Especially this past year, watching [Nikola] Jokić and the Nuggets tear it up on the court, I love watching basketball," Nix said. "I always enjoy it. I grew up playing it, so now I feel really excited to be able to go watch them play hopefully soon. ... I’m excited to just embrace it all.
"That’s what I was able to do at Oregon. You go around and you watch other teams and support the city. Not just the organization and the teams, but to be around for the rest of the city and just show up because ultimately on Sundays, they’re going to show up for you. So that’s what I’m excited about, and I’m definitely excited to see the other sports teams.”
The Nuggets are currently second in the Western Conference. The Lakers are fifth.
