Current Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton and former quarterback Peyton Manning were in attendance at Ball Arena on Tuesday evening to watch the Denver Nuggets defeat the LA Clippers 131-115 in Game 5 of their NBA playoff series.
Sutton showed off his basketball skills from his time hooping at SMU:
TNT cameras also found Manning sitting in the stands eating popcorn:
Sutton, quarterback Bo Nix and several of their teammates have attended Nuggets games this spring. Sutton and Nix did an interview with Altitude Sports during a game in March:
Sutton played in three games in college.
Following Tuesday's win, the Nuggets will now have a 3-2 lead in the series going into L.A. for Game 6 on Thursday. If Denver loses that game, they will host Game 7. If the Nuggets win on Thursday night, they will clinch the series and advance to Round 2 of the NBA playoffs.
