Rochester Adams product Bino Watters starred last season for the Notre Dame baseball team. On Wednesday, he announced where he hopes to star next.

Watters, considered the top-ranked player in the college baseball's transfer portal by Baseball America, announced his plans to transfer to SEC powerhouse LSU.

The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Watters slashed .362/.447/.610 with 10 home runs. His 31 extra-base hits and 51 RBIs each ranked second on the Fighting Irish, who finished the season 31-22 overall following a second-round exit in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.

In conference play, Watters hit .339 with a 1.060 OPS, compiling with 21 RBIs and 24 runs scored in 24 conference games to earn first-team All-ACC honors.

"Watters is an aggressive offensive player who can expand the strike zone at times, but he consistently does damage when pitchers challenge him in the zone," Baseball America wrote in listing Watters atop the transfer-portal rankings. "While his power production is already notable, there is still room for additional offensive growth if he continues to elevate the baseball more consistently. Encouragingly, he showed measurable progress in that area over his first two collegiate seasons."

Watters will join an LSU program that failed to reach the NCAA Tournament this past season with a 30-28 record (9-21 in the SEC), after winning the College World Series in 2025 their second national title in three seasons.

Watters was a two-time all-state selection at Adams in 2023 and 2024.
