The Texas A&M baseball team is on an absolute heater at the moment, extending its win streak to six games after sweeping LSU in Louisiana.
After dropping the first two series of SEC play to Oklahoma and Georgia, the Aggies have since gone 12-2 over the last 14 games, winning all four weekend series and sweeping #2 Texas, Missouri, and now LSU.
While the Aggie bats have been in the spotlight as of late, it was the pitchers who came up clutch today. Weston Moss, who was demoted from the second-game starter to the third-string position, started the game with a smooth 4.1 innings pitched, allowing just 3 hits, no runs, and 2 walks.
Gavin Lyons took the mound next, where he pitched a nearly perfect 2.2 innings, allowing 0 hits and striking out 2 batters. Closer Clayton Freshcorn had a slight hiccup, allowing a 2-run 8th inning (only one earned run), but the Aggies were still in prime position to win this game.

The Aggie bats have been incredible this season
"Simply put, if the pitching keeps the opponent to less than eight runs, A&M is undefeated' good Lord https://t.co/GGOM4RymJ8
