A strong performance from Texas A&M's lineup resulted in the program's first SEC series win of the season, as the Aggies defeated Missouri, 14-6, at Taylor Stadium in Game 2.
Nico Partida and Gavin Grahovac combined for four home runs in a dominant outing at the plate. Texas A&M notched 14 runs on 12 hits in the effort, marking the 12th game in which the Aggies have scored 10 runs or more. It is also the fourth conference matchup reaching that mark this season.
While Texas A&M had minimal struggles scoring runs against Missouri, the bullpen still featured some inconsistency. Right-hander Weston Moss allowed four walks, five hits and four earned runs in 3.2 innings pitched in his start on the bump, but Gavin Lyons and Grant Cunnigham performed well in relief to close the game out for the Maroon and White.
The Aggies will look for the sweep of the Tigers in Game 3 on Sunday afternoon. First pitch against Missouri is slated for 1 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast live on SEC Network+.
