The New England Patriots' defense was impressive in Sunday's divisional round playoff win over the Houston Texans on Sunday.
On a day when the offense struggled, the defensive unit intercepted Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud four times and forced a fumble on running back Woody Marks. One of the interceptions turned into a pick-six for cornerback Marcus Jones.
The Patriots' defense forced five turnovers in total and recorded three sacks to knock off the visiting Texans 28-16.
In total, Houston recorded only 241 yards of total offense and ran for 48 yards on 22 carries. The Patriots were able to force 22 plays of zero or negative yards, according to ESPN Insights. They also allowed no yards per rush before first contact, as they swarmed to the football throughout the afternoon.
Overall, it was a completely dominant defensive performance, and one that was needed to help the team advance to the AFC Championship Game. Here are the best and worst graded defensive players for the Patriots in Sunday's divisional playoff game, according to Pro Football Focus.
