The New England Patriots advanced to the Super Bowl after defeating the Denver Broncos 10-7 on Sunday.
The Patriots' defense was able to limit the Broncos' offense, led by backup quarterback Jarrett Stidham, to their only single-digit scoring game of the season.
New England's pass rush collapsed the pocket with regularity, having sacked Stidham three times on the day. No Broncos ball-carrier rushed for more than 37 yards in the game. The Patriots also contained the Broncos in the passing game in the affair.
Led by coach Mike Vrabel, the Patriots leaned on their defense as snow impacted the pace of the game in the second half. New England was able to silence Denver's ground game to hang on to their lead for the final 20:29 of the contest.
