Dec. 6—CROOKSTON — After losing by 30 points to Minnesota State Moorhead on Thursday, the Bemidji State men's basketball team got a bounce-back game it needed against Minnesota Crookston.
Led by a 34-point performance by John Pecarich, the Beavers launched past the Golden Eagles 87-77 on Saturday in Crookston.
Minnesota Crookston led 35-31 into halftime, but a 56-point explosion in the second half led BSU to victory.
Pecarich's 34 points led the team. He went 9-for-9 from the free-throw line and was 5-for-8 from beyond the arc, both team-highs. Henry Shannon III was the second-highest scoring Beaver with 23 points.
Isaac Severts led the team in rebounds with nine. He also led the team in assists with four.
