Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze is looking for a big bounce-back year in 2026, having struggled with a foot injury that hampered him throughout his sophomore year and impacted his production on offense.
With an opportunity to be Chicago's top receiver following the departure of DJ Moore this offseason, Odunze is setting the bar high for himself with a fun stipulation added to his season goal.
Speaking to Kay Adams during her visit to Bears training camp last week, Odunze revealed that he will bring back the blonde color in his hair if he reaches 1,000 yards receiving this season.
"The blonde might come back," Odunze teased when asked by Adams, who also mentioned needing approval from his significant other.
When Adams suggested that as long as Odunze gets 1,000 yards receiving and the approval from his better half, the Bears wide receiver agreed that those stipulations should work for him to bring back his hair look from his rookie season.
Odunze has the opportunity to become the primary receiver for Chicago this season, especially after the team traded Moore to the Buffalo Bills in the offseason. In what could be redemption season for the former first-round pick, he's bringing some fun stipulations into it for a little extra fun motivation.
