BB Cards vs FB Cards

I'm a fan of both Cardinal teams, but I would gladly watch the baseball Cards lose game 7 tonight if it meant the football ones would win Sunday. I'm wondering how many others would feel likewise(insert your fave MLB team instead of St Louis if you like someone else).

How about, I would gladly watch my presidential candidate lose on Nov 2 if it meant the Cards would win on sunday. I'd rather watch every other team I follow in all major sports come in dead last if the Cards could have a winning season. I could go on, but I'd better not.

Are you saying that you will give up the Stl Cards going to the World Series to allow the AZ Cards to win the game v. Seattle? WTF!

No way. I am a fan of both too, but there is no way I'd give up the chance for one championship to allow the other to win one regular season game.

Would I give it up for the AZ Cards to win the SB. Well..... hell yeah!

What he said. I'm also a "double dipper" and I've followed both Cards for about 25 years, so I do love the football team. But, there's no comparison between a regular season game versus going to the World Series. If they had been there in the last 5-10 years, then maybe. But, since it's been 17 since an appearance and 22 since a win, it's no contest.

Agreed...I would trade Cardinal SB win for a Cardinal WS win but not for a regular season game...no way.

No way I could give up the World series for a win this Sunday. I would probably give up the World Series in trade for the Gridbirds going to the Championship game with a chance to make the Super Bowl. The Cards in the series against the Red Sox....just doesn't get any better
