According to a report from Seb Stafford-Bloor of The Athletic (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich and Arsenal could be set to square off for Eintracht Frankfurt and German national team left-back Nathaniel Brown:

Nathaniel Brown is the subject of interest from Bayern Munich and Arsenal. The German international is expected to leave Frankfurt this summer.

Bayern Munich’s sudden interest in a left-back is reportedly being driven by the club’s skepticism regarding starting left-back Alphonso Davies, who tore his ACL during the 2024/25 season and followed that up with three injuries in the second half of this season.

All of that has led to at least some doubt creeping into the Bavarians front office over the Canadian’s long-term prospects. Some reports even indicate that Bayern Munich is willing to part ways with Davies due to his injury situation and his massive contract.

If Bayern Munich invests heavily again into the left-back position, it could be a big sign that the club is ready to get more aggressive about a sale of Davies.
