It's been quite the start to the offseason for Eintracht Frankfurt's Nathaniel Brown, as he has been the target of a serious intrigue from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, who have been looking to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming season. The Bavarian giants go into the Summer transfer window off a successful domestic campaign, but one in which they failed to sit atop the continental throne, getting knocked out of the Champions League by Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals.
Bayern were recently reported to have been in contact with Frankfurt over Brown's services, with the transfer fee in the range of €65 million. Those same reports indicated that there had been a bidding war between the German giants and the English Premier League's Manchester United, before the Red Devils ducked out of the race due to financial concerns.

While a move to Die Roten seems to be on the cards, and for most that would be the most eventful part of the offseason, but that won't be the case for Brown, who received the call-up to Germany's camp for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and it appears his debut in the global spectacle is imminent, according to recent reports.
As stated by Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, the 22-year-old is set to appear in Germany's starting lineup when they take on Curaçao on Sunday afternoon, which will be his first World Cup appearance.
While it will be his first appearance at the World Cup, Brown has five senior caps under his belt for the German National Team, having played in their qualifiers for the aforementioned global spectacle, as well as some friendlies.
Germany is slated to take on Curaçao on Sunday afternoon, with kick-off at the Houston Stadium set for 1:00 p.m. EST.
