WESTPHALIA — Adrianna Eklund led the Pirates with 18 points, seven rebounds and three steals as Pewamo-Westphalia secured the home win over Bath to take sole possession of first place in the CMAC. Elly Bengel tallied 14 points and Alonna Thelen added on 10 points for Pewamo-Westphalia (8-0, 7-0). Anna Poppema scored a team-best 13 points and grabbed four rebounds, Africa Beltran picked up 12 points and four rebounds and Addi Duflo tacked on eight points for Bath (8-1, 6-1).
MASON 42, EASTERN 38 (OT)
Josie Lator finished with a team-high 19 points to help the Bulldogs hold off Eastern for the CAAC Red overtime victory. Lyza Ruster notched nine points and Lydia Shattuck added on six points for Mason (5-3, 3-1). Brooklynn picked up 19 points and grabbed five rebounds, Surae Curtis tallied 10 points and Illyana Montgomery chipped in eight points and snagged six steals for the Quakers (3-5, 1-3).
PORTLAND ST. PATRICK 62, SARANAC 49
SARANAC — Gracelyn Rockey notched a double-double with 24 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals to lead the Shamrocks to a CMAC win over Saranac. Lily Sandborn scored 11 points, Marian Davlin picked up eight points and seven rebounds and Macie Leonard added on seven points for Portland St. Patrick (7-1, 6-1). Lydia Rasmus tallied a team-best 14 points for the Redhawks (4-4, 3-4).
LESLIE 48, NAPOLEON 30
NAPOLEON — Gracie Rivest led the Blackhawks with a team-high 14 points as Leslie secured the Cascades East road victory over Napoleon (3-6, 1-3). Alyssa Wing notched 10 points, Hailey Creisher scored nine points and Raquel Spalding finished with eight points for Leslie (3-7, 3-4).
LANSING CHRISTIAN 51, FOWLER 47
Esther Lee led the Pilgrims with a team-high 18 points as Lansing Christian was able to outlast Fowler for the CMAC home win. Alyssa Shank tacked on 17 points for Lansing Christian (3-5, 2-5). Isabella Halfmann led all scorers with 26 points and Sophia Thelen added eight points for the Eagles (2-7, 2-5).
BOYS
GRAND LEDGE 70, EVERETT 54
GRAND LEDGE - Braden James had 18 points to lead the Comets in a CAAC Blue win over Everett. Calvin Lynch had some key plays for Grand Ledge and added 14 points and seven rebounds, while brother Maddox and Braylon Newburg each had 11 points for Grand Ledge. Marrion May had a game-high 30 points for Everett.
WAVERLY 76, DeWITT 41
DeWITT — The Warriors started fast with a 29-5 run in the first quarter en route to a CAAC Blue road win over DeWitt. Derek Thomas led all scorers with 21 points, Xavier Pendergrass picked up 16 points and Kameron Amunga added on nine points for Waverly (8-2, 5-1). Brendan Mensing and Landon Kurncz each finished with a team-best 10 points for the Panthers (5-6, 2-4).
SEXTON 86, EATON RAPIDS 29
Keyshawn Summerville had 18 points and Carmen Henderson had 11 points and six rebounds for the J-Dubbs in their CAAC White win over Eaton Rapids. Andreas Manual and Willie Brown each had 10 points for Sexton.
OLIVET 60, LAKEWOOD 27
LAKE ODESSA — Reese Critchlow led all scorers with 15 points to help lead the Eagles past Lakewood for the CAAC White road victory. Ethan Myers chipped in 12 points for Olivet (9-4, 4-3). Skyler Oberlin tallied eight points and Jameson Tichvon tacked on six points and pulled down seven rebounds for the Vikings (3-8, 2-5).
STOCKBRIDGE 72, READING 61
READING — Bradley Buddenborg scored a team-high 28 points and tied a school-record with eight made three pointers in a Big 8 road win over Reading (1-11, 0-6). Remington Christie picked up 15 points and Jonathan Crowe tacked on 11 points for Stockbridge (10-3, 5-1). JV score: Stockbridge 58, Reading 2
