Baseball: TCU RHP Tyler Phenow enters transfer portal

TCU sophomore pitcher Tyler Phenow has declared for the transfer portal after two years with the Horned Frogs. The 6-foot-6, 210-pounder from Champlin, Minnesota made 13 appearances during the 2026 season, posting an 11.70 ERA with six strikeouts and seven walks over 10 innings pitched. Phenow made one appearances during his freshman season, throwing a scoreless inning with one strikeout. He was ranked one of the top high-schoolers in Minnesota before signing with the Horned Frogs. He’ll depart with two years of eligibility remaining.
