No. 12 Florida State baseball (34-14, 15-9 ACC) is traveling to Clemson for a conference matchup against the Tigers (29-20, 8-16 ACC). FSU is in fourth place in the ACC standings and is looking to make another run in the NCAA Tournament at the regionals and beyond.
Baseball America's bracketology of the field of 64 continues to like their chances to host a regional, as in their rankings, Florida State remains a No. 1 seed, as they have for most of the season.
FSU is projected to host the Tallahassee regionals as the No. 13 overall one-seed and would host Arkansas, East Carolina, and North Florida. They faced the North Florida Ospreys earlier in the season and defeated them 4-1. Other notable No. 1 seeds expected to host regionals include UCLA, Georgia Tech, Georgia, and Texas.
The Seminoles are 32-48 in the NCAA Tournament, and they are looking to win the first championship in program history. Their season continues on Friday when they face Clemson. Fans can catch that game at 6 p.m. ET on the ACC Network Extra.
