... Had a pretty nice game today.

I was also thinking to myself during the game how much improved a team we could be if we had any consistent pass rush. Also, why do you guys think the cards didn't call blitz very much today? Too much respect for Favre?

I have tried to defend barron in the past..last season we were 4 - 2 when he was injured...our defense was never the same after he went down..(although we did start to play some teams that actually had an offense)..Barron came back later in the season - but he was not the same as he was earlier...I thought he started off last season really well.. I think the key to barron being in for rushing plays is that he takes up a bunch of space and is kind of hard to move - he is probably the only d lineman we have that fits this description..

food for thought...I thought this was the best game (not that good yet - but better than the last two games ) for the dline..and wendall bryant essentially did not play (I think he played one series)..

I begin to wonder when Wendall Bryant is going to perform at a level worthy of his draft status. I'm not willing to give up on him just yet.

I was actually approached by a Pack fan at Damon's. He had gone to Wisconsin the same time as Wendell Bryant and wanted to know how he was doing. When I said he hadn't done a damn thing yet, he said he was both surprised and not surprised. Surprised because he thought he was super talented....but he also said his friend had known Wendell, and said he was very laid back and didn't take much seriously.

Take it for what it's worth.
