Noted basketball enthusiast Barack Obama released his NCAA Tournament brackets, and fans of the Ohio State men's team are hoping the former U.S. president is wrong.

Obama, in a post on X released by The Obama Foundation, has No. 8 seed Ohio State losing to No. 9 seed TCU in the first round. That game will be played at 12:15 p.m. March 21 in Greenville, South Carolina.

Obama has TCU losing to top-seeded Duke in the second round, and he has Duke making it all the way to the title game. He predicts No. 1 seed Arizona will win it all, though, topping Duke.

Obama correctly predicted the NCAA Tournament winner twice, and both came during his presidency. In his first presidential bracket in 2009, he guessed that North Carolina would take the title and the Tar Heels did.

He took North Carolina again in 2017 and was correct.

Obama has continued to submit brackets and share his predictions even after his time in the White House.

Obama's picks, predictions and upsets

He doesn't anticipate many upsets this year through the first round. There are a few games where the higher-seeded team loses to the lower-seeded team, which Obama has on his brackets. He predicts No. 9 Utah State to beat No. 8 Villanova. He also has No. 10 Missouri upsetting No. 7 Miami.

Additionally, he believes No. 9 Iowa knocks off No. 8 Clemson, while No. 10 UCF hands No. 7 UCLA its first loss.

Obama also has No. 11 South Florida topping No. 6 Louisville.

His Final Four selections are Arizona, Duke, Illinois and Iowa State.

Obama's women's basketball tournament bracket

On the women's bracket, Obama has third-seeded Ohio State beating No. 14 Howard in the first round and No. 6 Notre Dame in the second. He has the Buckeyes then losing to No. 2 seed Vanderbilt in the Sweet 16.

His Final Four women's picks are UCLA, Connecticut, Texas and South Carolina, with UConn knocking off UCLA in the big game.
