I'm hoping he played this much today because SF had no WR's and runs the ball so well we wanted an extra run defender? He had some good moments but he's scary bad in coverage.

jalen Thompson got hurt, that was the main reason he played so much.

Yeah, he's a backup. We need to get that figured out if Thompson misses time.

I believe that second TD was all on him. He was outside and Simmons was inside, Banjo has to get out there, no way Simmons could. Outside guy has to get there. IMO

I guess one could argue that simmons wasn't positioned correctly presnap but that is something we'll probably never know.
so is Earl Thomas. Every FA safety gotta have off the field things going on tho lol.

Eric Reid and, if healthy, Tony Jefferson work for me. Both have issues, but ok if Thompson out for a long time.
If he was out of position pre snap why didn't one of the vets move him?

I don't believe he was, that's why I said one could maybe argue that point. I still believe it was Banjo that had the flat as he was lined up outside of Simmons.
