Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was on a flight when an autograph seeker spotted him on a plane and started harassing him.
“Everybody say hi to Ja’Marr Chase on your way out,’ the autograph hound said to Chase.
Why was he harassing Chase? All because Chase refused to give him an autograph.
He continued, “He don’t sign autographs though. “Should’ve signed that auto and I wouldn’t have blown your cover.”
Chase wasn’t bothering anybody when this person came along. He was trying to enjoy his flight when this anonymous fan came along trying to bother him.
To Chase’s credit, he didn’t respond, which is what it looked as if the autograph seeker wanted some reaction from the star wideout, but he didn’t get it.
When the video went viral, most fans were on Chase’s side.
“I bet he doesn’t regret not signing it either. Jamarr should be happy he didn’t sign it. This is another example of how ppl act when you tell them no. Ppl gotta stop feeling entitled.”
However, some thought Chase should have just signed the autograph.
“I’m on the fan’s side. I’m sick of these athletes who feel they are above being human.”
