The Los Angeles Lakers are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Houston Rockets in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.

For the Lakers, they enter Wednesday’s game with a 3-1 series lead after losing on the road to the Rockets in Game 4 on Sunday night.

Now Los Angeles will try to bounce back on Wednesday as they look to use home court to their advantage to grab a victory over the Rockets to clinch the series and punch their ticket into the second round of the playoffs.

While the Lakers are trying to end the series with a win at home in Game 5 on Wednesday night, they may be without two of their star players due to injuries.

Lakers list Austin Reaves, Luka Doncic on injury report for Game 5​


For the Lakers, they have two players listed on their injury report for Game 5 on Wednesday night.

Los Angeles has listed Austin Reaves as questionable due to a left oblique strain and there is a chance he could return from a nine-game absence and make his first appearance of the playoffs on Wednesday.

If Reaves is not cleared to return for Game 5 and remains sidelined, Luke Kennard, Marcus Smart and Bronny James could all continue to have increased roles.

The Lakers have ruled out Luka Doncic due to a left hamstring strain as he has yet to play in the playoffs and he is expected to miss the remainder of the first round.

Fans can catch Game 5 of the first-round series between the Rockets and Lakers from Los Angeles on Wednesday night at 10:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
