SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Three-seed Augustana hockey is back in Midco Arena this weekend to host six-seed Bemidji State in the Mason Cup quarterfinals.

Vikings head coach Garrett Raboin has long emphasized the importance of a player led team. This group is the first to 20 wins in program history and looks to maintain that player led mindset approaching postseason play.

“This is a group that late in the season, your team is what your team is and the guys have to take it over,” Raboin said. “Players voices resonate far greater than the coach’s voice does.”

Augustana will meet Bemidji State in the best of three series starting Friday night.
