The Augusta National is a crown jewel for Georgia, but it's only accessible by invitation. Where are the best public-access courses?
Recently, Golfweek released this year's list of the top 100 in the nation. This was determined by a panel that continually evaluates courses and rates them based on 10 criteria.

Three Georgia courses made the list:
Seaside is run by Sea Island Resort but is actually on St. Simons Island at 100 Retreat Ave.
The course is closed through Oct. 18 for restoration. It will reopen on Oct. 19 when nine holes are available for $315, 18 holes are $425, and a replay is $290. For more info, go to seaisland.com/experience/activities/seaside.
The Keep is at McLemore Resort in Rising Fawn at 32 Clubhouse Ln. It's in the northwest corner of Georgia, about 27 miles southwest of Chattanooga.

The Great Water Course is in Eatonton at 112 Great Waters Dr. It's about 21 north of Buckhead and 27 miles north of Milledgeville.
