I’m just glad Leavitt didn’t get dragged away by Tennessee because I guarantee you they approached him after Nico flaked on them. Tennessee was all over the Big12 QBs

Definitely glad he didn't get poached. If he's not around Tempe for the 2026-27 season, I hope it is in the NFL, not the SEC. Speaking of spring practice, I read some good things about the transfer from Fresno State, Jalen Moss. Could be another good weapon for Leavitt.

It's only a preseason poll, but I don't understand why Kansas State is ranked ahead of ASU.

Me too, just like the previous ranking of BYU ahead of ASU. I am super biased though. KState does have their QB Avery Johnson returning, but he didn't look as good as our guy when we beat them last year, on the road (I think). Johnson played with a hip injury last year, so he could be primed for a better year, I know he is one of the guys that was recruited way more heavily than SL (I can't spell Leavitt).

I don’t believe the numbers to be true…not at all. SEC or not Kentucky isn’t spending that kind of money on football. I guarantee you he was approached by Tennessee when their v QB bolted to UCLA.

Yeah, he's transferring - possibly to Utah. He violated the honor code by having premarital sex. A woman accused Retzlaf of rape, he agreed it was consensual, but no rape. As a result, he got suspended for the sex which is violation of BYU's honor code. Some conspiracy theorists say the woman was a Utah Ute booster and basically got him kicked off the team.
