Far too young. I attended a lot of his college games and became a Braves fan when they drafted him. Fortunately I had just signed up for a pre-cable movie channel that included the Braves day games - they switched from TBS programming during the day to a premium movie channel in the evenings so I got to watch a lot of MLB games back when that was rare for those of us living in the Valley. A warning was probably warranted from the umps there but what Hairston did was stupidity and it potentially hurt the team. He was slumping for a bit so it may not have affected the outcome but we’ll never know. With our best player out for the last game - suspended for a bat flip? SMH.
