What is Asian Legends League 2026?
The second season of the Asian Legends League promises to feature some of the best retired cricket players in Asia for almost two weeks of T20 cricket games between July 30 and August 10.
With a total of six teams participating in the league, all 19 T20 matches are scheduled to be played at the Lotus Sports Club Ground in Lusaka, Zambia.
The tournament brings together retired icons from across Asia, as the 2026 edition includes the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Yusuf Pathan, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Hafeez, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara for a T20 showdown.

Asian Legends League 2026 format
The six participating teams would play the other teams once in the league format, making for a total of 15 league matches along with four matches in the knockout phase.
The top two teams in the league participate in Qualifier 1, whereas the teams finishing third and fourth clash in the Eliminator. The team winning Qualifier 1 advance directly to the final, and the team that loses gets another chance to make the final in Qualifier 2.
The team that wins the Eliminator plays against the loser in Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2, and the winner of that match joins the Qualifier 1 winner in the Asian Legends League 2026 final match.
