Clarification on E. Kane suspension. Automatic 3 games Sharks can appeal. At that point Bettman engages and considers reduction.

Stick taps to ⁦‪@KKurzNHL‬⁩ for pointing out that Martin Jones has now allowed a goal on the first shot of the night in 4 of the last 5 seasons for San Jose.

Whatever Jones did to offend the Season Opener Gods, man...

Blackhawks sign Alex DeBrincat to a three-year extension with a $6.4M cap hit. The bridge deal is in vogue again!

Lamoriello: Ho-Sang's rep asked for a trade, so we told him not to report for a few days while we worked on that.

Joe Thornton on Patrick Marleau: “He should be playing somewhere. I expect he’ll be somewhere soon. He skates with us in the summer and he’s still the best skater on the ice.” #SJSharks

Interesting. So their team puts the puck into their opponents net. I wonder if that is something we should look into.

Hearing more news about another top prospect coming out of Germany. In the footsteps of Leon Draisaitl, Dominik Bokk (2018 1st rd pick) Moritz Seider (2019 1st rounder) comes Tim Stuetzle, who has 8 pts in 9 GP as a 17 yr old in Mannheim. Some think he’s a top 10 pick in 2020.
