Just came here to say this team sucks, that is all. They are 6th overall in the league in runs scored yet have a losing record. The 5 teams ahead of them in runs scored…Yep, you guessed it…All teams currently in the playoffs if the season ended today.

Funny thing was early on tonight I was kinda going "hey if they win/sweep this series they have the Rockies for 4 this weekend. Could they actually get back in it?" But then once it got to 6-5 that was out of my head pretty quickly as the scenario we've all witnessed 1000 times this season was about to transpire.

I've watched every game and am aware of our run-scoring ability. It's the pitcher's injuries. Look at all the TJ surgeries and other major injuries, including our ace and our best 2 relievers. Sure, every team has injuries, but we have been hit with a plethora of serious injuries. That is why we have the most blown saves in the NL and a losing record. Without all of these injuries, we would be right in the hunt for a playoff spot. Your statement that this team sucks sounds like someone who hasn't been following the team closely. I am surprised we have won as many games as we have.

To your credit, you did ask to get him out of there beforehand, not after all the damage was done. I can respect that.
I definitely haven’t watched every game, been to 4 this season and always watch the box score of every game.
My main point is this team is so disappointing. I get injuries, but it happens to every team. It’s just frustrating because on paper this team was better than last years and the World Series team…I believe they are going to fade into obscurity the next few seasons. Just my opinion but it feels like the window is closing.
