How will he be able to feed his family? They discussed his current contract on the radio today and he has incentives built in that would pay him another $5 million or more on top of the nearly $6 contract. Poor guy.

That's the difference between Jacoby and a park bench.....How will he be able to feed his family?
It's going to be such a struggle. Those heartless people in the Cardinals organization just don't seem to care. How will he be able to feed his family?
been saying this for a week plus we'd get a (crappy) draft pickDonnie Druin

I don’t think it would come to this but the Cardinals can save $5.94 million on cutting Brissett before or after June 1.
Trading him would save $7.4 million.
how would this work exactly?been saying this for a week plus we'd get a (crappy) draft pick
No need to come out and support them, right? Jacoby is just another player under contract and is not holding out as you have repeatedly said - so there is nothing to see here. Move along.Imagine coming out of the woodwork to support Michael Bidwill and Monti Ossenfort.
OT: Hey Mel, how's the vein? That's the difference between Jacoby and a park bench.....

Yup. Everyone in this situation is embarrassing. Cards org is a circular firing squad. No need to come out and support them, right? Jacoby is just another player under contract and is not holding out as you have repeatedly said - so there is nothing to see here. Move along.
Why redo a contract for a guy you only want to start a few games this season before handing the reins over to your newest draft pick? The contract criticism is misplaced.Yup. Everyone in this situation is embarrassing. Cards org is a circular firing squad.

Brissett is just worried because his biggest incentives are tied to playing in a certain percentage of games. He may not reach those if Beck gets an early chance to start.Input error
That’s probably accurate. He saw what Monti did with the Passtronaut and probably feels like Monti isn’t bargaining in good faith.Brissett is just worried because his biggest incentives are tied to playing in a certain percentage of games. It was obvious he’d be QB1. It was hilarious when he said he hadn’t heard anything.Johnny Venerable

The biggest mistake of the offseason by the Arizona Cardinals was leaking it that Jacoby Brissett would be there QB1.
Zero benefit to doing it and Brissett rightfully took advantage.
Struck out on Malik Willis and Jimmy Garoppolo then panicked.
And here we are now.

I'm trying to make sense of the dollar values Harris listed in his tweet.xc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
