Well I wanted to wish you all a Happy Friday, but now who knows.
The Arizona Cardinals are only have a line of 4.5 wins on the season according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, that there are low expectations, even with the pay bump to Jacoby Brissett.
So that begged the question, how many games does Brissett get in 2026?
The vast majority of fans see him getting maybe half the season (even though there is no half the season anymore thanks to 17 games).

I was actually surprised, even though that was my thought as well, how many of you see it only being up to eight games. With the huge majority seeing him not making the season.
I will say this, I think at eight games (where barring it being absolutely catastrophic the first five or so games) Brissett has to be at worst 3-5 to make sure he gets that ninth game. 2-6 would be bad, 1-7 would actually be shocking to see him still starting at that point. 0-8 would be… who knows.
However, it is harder to have this conversation while we wait for the news on Nolen to come through, but interesting conversation to have when we can get our thoughts straight.
