Anyone notice the lack of knee brace on Palmer against the Lions?

Not sure if this was posted in another thread, but apparently Palmer forgot to pack his knee brace for the road trip and had to play the Lions without it. I'm curious if that has anything to do with the first couple throws for CP on Sunday.

ACL braces are custom fitted and cast. Takes about three weeks to get one.

I am sure they had that brace overnighted to West Virginia in any case.

Yes, they are custom fit.

I wore one for the first 5-6 months after I was cleared to resume activity post ACL reconstruction. They haven't been proven to work, but they do give you piece of mind I suppose.

I found, over time, that wearing it actually caused me pains and strains. Once I lost it and got over the mental hurdles, I found I performed much better without. It's a great day when you get out of it.
