This morning on Mike and Mike they said after drafting Weeden the Browns are shopping McCoy.

Here is also a link to a fox sports article

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...fter-selecting-brandon-weeden-in-draft-042712

McCoy has had a lackluster two seasons in Cleveland after being selected in the third round in 2010. In 21 career starts, he has thrown 20 touchdowns and 20 interceptions, but has been hindered by the offense's lack of big-play ability.

Who knows what they want, but would anyone rather have him then a 5-7th round QB? Seems like it might be a relatively cheap way to add another arm and another option for a year. Perhaps Kellen Moore makes more sense, but if he gets snapped up or even maybe not, perhaps this makes sense.

Just throwing that out here and hadn't seen it on the site today.

no, seen enough of QBs with the arm strength of Max Hall. He is a dink and dunk QB and it would not matter if the Browns had a deep threat because McCoy would might as well shank punt the ball to them because that is what his deep pass attempts look like

3 iffy QB's might be better than 2 iffy ones. I don't see how it makes us any less.

Not saying we should do it, just saying it's the Browns, and the Cards seem to have a relationship with them and thus regardless of whether or not we should do it or not, the Cards probably received a call..and from there????

I'd give up a 7th for him. I think he's better then Bartel. That's about it though.

For a 6th/7th rounder I'd take him. He's had absolutely no weapons around him in Cleveland. He may not pan out but he'd be worth the risk. It's ridiculous to compare him to Max Hall. McCoy should be more compared to a guy like Fitzpatrick, who he could become over time. Now whether or not that is good enough is another question.

sorry, Fitzpatrick still has at least high school QB arm strength... but that Pop Warner crap McCoy is selling does not cut it with me :)

I'd do it. Trade Kolb to another team. Colt would do well with receivers that can catch.

Too late. Colt with his accuracy would have been perfect for us 2010. Now we have Million Dollar Kolb and Colt wouldnt have a chance to play.

McCoy is being dumped for a geriatric rookie QB. No thank you. His future is as the OC for the Longhorns.

I think this is the measuring stick, whether another QB is better than Bartel.

Weedon's only 1 year older than that rookie QB we got from the Eagles last year.

Funny isn't it how age relates in sports that we call a guy 28 years old "geriatric".

And even funnier that we watch a sport where an old guy is at a minimum of 20 years younger than we are.
