I was really shocked to see Chase out there after that shoulder hit that left him writhing in pain. His shoulder has been questionable for a few weeks now and I'm starting to be concerned about his long term health. I know he can still run with a bum shoulder, but at a certain point a shoulder injury will make it impossible for him to catch the ball or even put on his jersey. The tendons in that area are rather fragile and they don't usually heal without surgery. I will not be surprised if his season ends like Watt's.

Yes for the same reason JJ looked fine after getting hurt. These guys are in a different state of mind when playing. I wouldn’t be surprised if Chase missed time.

I've thought once or twice that Chase would better off sliding Kyler style at the end of some of his runs and avoiding the big hit for the sake of the last yard or two

I know that's probably describing the antithesis of a running back but I just don't see him finishing the season. He doesn't have the frame to keep copping hits

He's courageous. Has the mindset of a much bigger player

Yeah, no. Soooo much no. If he can't finish the season, it'll just reinforce lack of confidence in him in the offeason from some folks. So far, I've been proven wrong. If he becomes so damn injury prone that he has to slide? As a freaking RB? Then no.
