Tempe, AZ - Friday, October 21, 2005 - Anthrax Scare At Sun Devil Stadium

Arizona Cardinal football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.

The Cardinals head coach immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate.

After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line.

Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.

Found that on another board...I think it's kinda funny.

That was a fake write-up used back in the big anthrax scare a few years ago. Surprised that you still saw it somewhere.

Yeah, I remember posting this back on the old AZprosports forum. We used Dave McGinnis and Thomas Jones in the old one :D

I bet if David Boston read this, he would have demanded a trade back after hearing about white powder on the field

wow, this surfaced again?

I guess it's inevitable with the poor performance we always give.

This is stupid because the Cardinals encounter the goaline quite often when playing defence.

This is BS. I've never seen the members of Anthrax scared of anything.
