It's a big, big day in Ann Arbor.
The Michigan Wolverines men's basketball team will compete for a national championship tonight when it takes on the UConn Huskies at 8:50 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
While thousands of U-M fans are expected to pack Indiana's state capital to watch the momentous game in person, thousands more will be watching from Ann Arbor, at bars, restaurants and watch parties all over the area.
We're live in Ann Arbor to talk to fans, capture the moment and cover the celebration if they win (or sorrows if they lose). Follow our live updates below. (Looking for game updates? Follow along here.)
You'd be forgiven if you thought Michigan played the National Championship at Crisler Arena on Monday evening: a line of hundreds, if not thousands, of people snaked around the arena more than two hours ahead of tip off.
Fans sat, their backs against Michigan Stadium, while others yelled and cheered. Nervous, excited energy permeated the crowd as they ignored an increasingly biting wind, awaiting doors opening at 7:30.
