James Gladstone has had only one draft as the Jacksonville Jaguars' GM, but ESPN analyst Jordan Reid has already identified a draft-specific trend that has emerged.
Gladstone gravitates towards more experienced draft prospects, just as the LA Rams do.
"Consistent with what the Rams did when he was there, Gladstone has not used top-30 visits in Jacksonville," Reid wrote. "I expect him and the Jaguars to continue their trend of picking players who can play right away."
Of the Jaguars' nine draft picks last year, eight of those players played at least 1,700 career college snaps. Four of those eight prospects played over 2,000 career snaps.
Although there will always be a learning curve that comes with making the jump from college to the NFL level, a more seasoned collegiate player could make that transition more smoothly, allowing them to hit the ground running and contribute sooner than later and at a higher level.
Daire Carragher of Pro Football Focus recently highlighted some of the most experienced prospects in the 2026 NFL draft. Here is a look at who those prospects are at positions that could interest the Jaguars.
