Egypt World Cup team director Ibrahim Hassan had an altercation with local security after stepping in to protect a child that had asked for photos together with players.
Videos on social media showed pushing and shoving and heated arguments between the American security forces and Egypt delegation members outside the team hotel in Dallas where fans had gathered to welcome the players.
Reports cited the Egypt FA as saying that an American security guard wanted to stop the child from taking the pictures. Hassan, the twin brother of coach Hossam Hassan, stepped in which led to the brief altercation.
