On the cheap, I guess. Sort of like my feelings about Terrelle Pryor... we don't have much, we need something. May as well kick the tires on a cheap but experienced option.

To me he is very similar to Jaron Brown.

I suppose on the cheap sure, we need receivers.

$7m cap hit if Jags kept him. Schefter thinks there will be a strong market for him... for sure Cards won't be in the bidding war. :help:. BTW he is a slot receiver.

"The only concern with Hurns is the physical nature of his style. He takes a lot of hits over the middle, and has been concussed several times in his career. Teams that sign him would be getting a solid, physical slot receiver. They likely wouldn't be getting his 2015 production."

"Allen" Hurns had a really good year in 2015 putting up 1,031 yards, 10 TD and a 61% catch rate. His other 3 years have been injury-riddled. He's got height at 6'3" but might be a little lean at 195. On a prove-it deal, I'd definitely say the Cardinals should take a look.

I'm more than confident he will get more than a kick the tires one year prove it deal.

Pryor should definitely be looked into. He has tons of untapped talent still and could learn a ton from Larry. If we don't sign him, the Browns will surely take him back.

The thing with Pryor, it opens up the bag of tricks on plays like the end around/pass.

I don’t know why he isn’t brought in, its only ankle surgery he had, not knee or back issues.

Seems to me he’s at least be worth a look with literally zero legit threat besides Fitz... and only 3 WRs total on the roster.

We have a 35 years old hall of famer
A skinny speedy receiver with stonehand
And someone drafted in the 3th who cant be considered a legit player yet

Tigh end we have just Seal Jones
Gresham propably will start the season at PUP List

We need 3wr (I mean in the 58) and 2 tigh ends

I see us drafting a receiver and a tight end but one for each role we should add rather sooner then later
Receiver need to create chemenstry with the qb

Wow, Cowboys are getting Hurns for 2 years for $12M. For that cheap, a LOT of teams should have been in the running. Playing across from Bryant, this will pay some dividends for the Cowboys IMO.

EDIT: https://www.profootballrumors.com/2018/03/cowboys-to-sign-wr-allen-hurns

I guess 10 different teams were interested but Hurns only visited Dallas and NY. AZ wasn't one of the 10.

That's freaking depressing. Seems like we're going super cheap and super conservative with this offseason, when we 100 percent needed to do the opposite. Keim's about as aggressive as a snail ;)

I was kind of thinking the same thing but, it seems as though the Cowboys are actually making this move so they can cut Dez. Maybe the Cardinals have Dez on their radar? First Emmitt, why not Dez? Cowboy to Cardinal.

For me it's less that we didn't sign him and more that we weren't even interested.

No thanks on Dez--don't need that drama llama!

Yeah, it makes one wonder what the Cardinals have planned at WR. Considering most WR's don't really contribute as rookies it's hard to imagine that they think they can fill out their corps through the draft. Not seeing a lot of big potential type guys left in FA either. But they must have their eyes on someone in particular to not even consider Hurns.

WR is the thinnest position on the cards and yet they still haven't signed anyone to fill it. Wierd.
