Alex Palou wins IndyCar race at Nashville in 2026, full results

The NTT IndyCar Series competed at Nashville Superspeedway, but it wasn't on schedule. Due to inclement weather, IndyCar was forced to postpone the race at Nashville, denying the opportunity of a FIFA World Cup lead-in on FOX. At the end of the day, it was a familiar face in victory lane.

Alex Palou and the No. 10 team for Chip Ganassi Racing won Monday's race at Nashville, earning their fifth victory of the 2026 IndyCar season. Palou was able to hold off the Team Penske drivers on hard tires, while the three of them had soft tires. It marks Palou's third career victory on an oval track.

The Chip Ganassi Racing driver continues to flex his muscles, increasing his championship lead to 83 points over Malukas. Palou is the best driver in the world right now, and his performances are getting better and better. The IndyCar field is facing another tough climb to steal the championship trophy away from Palou.
