After hearing "Man in the Box" on the radio the 1st time, I was hooked this band for its unique sound. Unique is probably the best way to describe this album.

A complete departure from the powerful songs on past albums, this album has more of an acoustic, mellow, yet still AIC dark sound to it.

"No Excuses" was the song that got the most airplay, and to a lesser extent "I Stay Away". My favorites are "Stay Away" and "Swing on This" - a jazz-based drum and bass line, with vocals that just aren't jazz, making for a real interesting combination.

I've always loved this album... My favorite track is "Don't Follow".... I can never figure out why they didnt perform that during "Unplugged" since it's the best acoustic song they ever did....

I must admit that "Swing On This" is my least favorite A-I-C song since it drags on in certain parts.....

Mike Inez's bass playing was spectaculor, especially the in the beginning of "Rotten Apple"...

The most underrated song would be "Whale & Wasp", by far the most adventerous track they ever recorded....

This is a great song. It holds a bit of sentimentality for me as well since my wife and I were prepping our wedding invitations to be mkailed out while listening to this album.

I love the acoustic sound by almost any band. Just a full rich sound.

I Stay Away and No Excuses are my faves on this album.
