Agreed. I think the Saints and Payton are a class group.

They finished us off there...and then backed it off.

When you put up 51 points the game before it's more a tribute than an insult.

You have to finish off the other team, it can get ridiculous to be PC about how you do that, we got a proper boot to the throat, I hated it but objectively that's what you do.

They could have scored another two or three TDs today, easily, had they wanted to. I'm not sure what you wanted them to do there other than take a knee.

If they were on our 38, that is a different story. But they were on our 25! Well within FG range for any kicker (43 yards).

That is my contention with that play.

So if you are going to "tribute" the other team, go for the percentages and get the 3 points. Even still, they were up 31 points at the time with around 9 minutes to go in the game. The play call was silly to be honest with you.

It was a silly call. The way McFadden was "covering" Colston and Henderson Payton should've called a pass and scored a TD on the play.
